My journey kicked off when I earned my personal lines insurance agent license, eventually landing me in a managerial role by 2005. Three years later, a game-changing opportunity arose to transform my business into multiple franchises throughout South Florida.
Becoming a business owner came with a handful of rewards, and at the heart of it all, was the joy of helping others. Our franchising model at Estrella Insurance started with the leadership of 45 remarkable Hispanic women. As it evolved, our commitment to empowering female-owned businesses remained unwavering.
Because of my background, I actively equip my team with tools for licensing and growth across my six franchises and proudly employ 40 women. I stand as a testament to encouraging women to embrace franchising for financial independence and personal growth. In our franchise structures, the supportive environment propels growth through mutual aid, mentorship, and networking.
My advice, as many others have shared, is that entrepreneurship demands self-belief, hard work, determination, and tenacity. In my experience, the franchising sector, with its structured support, offers a route to success for those embracing challenges.
After two decades with Estrella Insurance, my goals remain the same: Upholding a stellar business reputation and providing excellent customer service with an emphasis on customer retention as the key to long-term success. As I navigate my journey, I hope to have inspired many women in the franchising sector, proving that with determination and a supportive environment, any dream is attainable.
